This high-quality, palatable formulation includes the following key ingredients:
- Green Lipped Mussel (GLM): is natural shellfish extract (sourced from New Zealand) containing glucosamine, chondroitin, essential fatty acids (EFAs) and other ingredients.
- Glucosamine HCl: is the purest and most stable form of glucosamine. Glucosamine is a natural compound and key building block for cartilage and synovial fluid (joint lubricant). As dogs age, their natural production of glucosamine slows resulting in poor joint lubrication, bone-on-bone friction, pain and reduced mobility.
- Hyaluronic acid: a major macromolecule component of cartilage and joint fluid.
- Ascorbic acid: is the most important water-soluble anti-oxidant that supresses free-radicals.
- Calcium & Manganese: are both natural inhibitors of oxidation.
- Vitamin E: an important fat soluble anti-oxidant used to mop up free-radicals.
Directions for Use
DNA Vetcare: Joint Care (300 Chewable Tablets) is a highly palatable, liver flavoured, chewable tablet that can be broken and mixed into food or given directly as a treat. For elderly pets or those with joint stiffness, give double the recommended serving size for the first 4-6 weeks.
