It includes a standardized extract of milk thistle along with a full complex of B-vitamins and anti-oxidants alpha lipoic acid and DL-Methionine.
Product Formulation
DNA Vetcare: Hepatic Care (120 ml Liquid) provides a selected combination of ingredients to provide nutritional support for liver function:
- Milk thistle: Contains biologically active and abundant quantities of silymarin and silibinin which support normal liver function through several key mechanisms including managing normal inflammatory and antioxidant effects, cell regeneration, toxin protection and glutathione preservation.
- Lecithin: Containing essential phospholipids, lecithin helps emulsify fats, which aids fat metabolism and prevents fatty degeneration of liver cells (hepatocytes). It provides vital nutrients for maintaining normal liver cell membranes.
- L-Glutathione: Often called the "master antioxidant," glutathione is naturally produced by the liver but can become depleted. It directly binds to toxins and heavy metals to aid their elimination and provides a primary defense for liver cell integrity.
- Alpha Lipoic Acid: A potent antioxidant that supports liver health by increasing glutathione levels, another crucial antioxidant for liver detoxification.
- Vitamin B-Complex: B vitamins are water-soluble and are vital for numerous metabolic processes, including those found in the liver. In liver disease, the liver's ability to store and utilize these vitamins may be impaired, and they may be depleted through increased detoxification demands.
- Herbal Blend: A combination of ingredients with protective, detoxification and nutritional support properties.
Directions for Use
DNA Vetcare: Hepatic Care (120 ml Liquid) is an affordable option for clients requiring both short or long-term liver management. The product is available as a highly palatable liquid formulation with a natural liver and bacon flavouring.

- Shake bottle well before each use.
- Using the provided measured dropper, for animals under 10 kg in body weight, give 1 ml twice a day with meals.
- For each additional 10 kg body weight give an extra 1 ml twice daily, or as recommended by your veterinarian.
- Ensure fresh water is available to the animal at all times.
