DNA Vetcare: Gastro Bind Care (100 g Powder) is a sterilised, heat dried Montmorillonite Smectite Clay (also known as Bentonite Clay) that helps manage normal gut / digestive system in cats and dogs.
Chemically Montmorillonite is a hydrated calcium aluminosilicate that has a three-layer crystalline structure (one alumina and two silica layers) separated by calcium ions. This chemical structure forms a protective mucin layer over damaged gut mucosa.
Directions for Use
Each pot of DNA Vetcare: Gastro Bind Care (100 g Powder) includes a measuring scoop. Mix in with food as directed below.
- Give one level scoop per 5 kg body weight twice daily whilst diarrhoea is present.
- For ongoing maintenance, give one half scoop per 5 kg body weight twice daily.
Severe cases may require a higher amount, dependant on veterinary direction. Ensure fresh water is available to the animal at all times
